Their response to problems is IGNORE YOU

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Horrible! They did not honor many of the things we were told at purchase. They lost our title and ignored me when I tried to get them to help. We had to drive for 9 months with no plates! Now we tried to get coverage under our Extended Warranty only to find the policy is NOT AT ALL WHAT THEY SAID IT WAS. It is basically worthless. I have been trying to Cancel it since Dec 19 of last year - 3-1/2 months later the Warranty Company is now helping me force them to cancel the policy since they simply ignore my requests. That is how they have handled literally everything that has transpired since the purchase: just ignore you completely. Wait for you to give up and go away. I love the coach but I would never buy anything from RV Country ever again regardless of how good the deal because they are not honorable people. I have pages of documentation proving all that I have said, and they have ZERO documentation showing any responses. At one point on one of the calls I was told the Receptionist had been on leave for several months and no one knew how to retrieve the voice mail messages - that was their reason for not returning those calls. Really? Is that how you run a business? MONTHS WORTH OF MESSAGES NEVER RETRIEVED. If they are that disorganized then you really need to ask yourself if you want to deal with them on a multi-hundred thousand dollar purchase. Never again.

The Kelso branch are giving me the runaround on a product purchased from them. Giving me a false Name and number to contact the regional manager. I believe they are trying to keep me busy until the warranty expires.Im very unhappy with their service.

Bad service

I took my RV to the Buckley RV Country location to get the refrigerator repaired. After a couple of weeks I received a phone call from Corey the service rider that they had gotten ahold of the manufacturer of the refrigerator to get the part number for the piece they needed to fix. Corey was able to get ahold of the insurance company for the extended warranty to pay for the cost of the repair except for the deductible. Corey gave me a price for the deductible that was $100 plus the charge for the shop expense and the freight to get the part to the Buckley location. The price for the freight was supposed to be minable and the shop charge was around $20. I gave Corey the approval to do the repair and it should be done in approximately another week or two. I finally received the phone call from Corey that my trailer was finished and ready to be picked up. Wednesday December the 14th arrived at RV Country in Buckley pick up my trailer Corey the service rider wasn't available, and I had to work with a different service writer. I was presented with my bill and the bill was quite a bit higher than what I expected upon looking at the billing I was charged $120 for freight that probably should have been around $20 I ask questions and the service writer just told me that's what the price was. So, I paid the bill and asked the service writer to come out and look at my trailer with the before I left. When I got out to look at the trailer the access panel on the outside of the trailer to get to look at the refrigerator was partially open. I discovered that a plastic piece was broken and had to be replaced the gentleman ran inside to got the piece to fixed it. While I was waiting for him; I went inside to look at this trailer refrigerator and discovered that there was yellow product all over the floor in the trailer. When the gentleman came back out, I just let him know that I was not very happy with the product over the floor in the trailer and at that time I also discovered that they had to take my TV set off the wall and that the wiring was not put back in place and that the TV was filthy dirty from dirty handprints. I also looking around the trailer an found that the refrigerator had not been cleaned after being reinstalled also discovered that the stairs walking out of the trailer had the same yellow product all over the stairs. I decided just to hook up my trailer and leave because I was not getting any help from their service rider. When I got home I decided to call back and try to talk to Corey the service rider and he had returned from a parts run. Corey advised me to talk to the shop foreman I was able to have a conversation with him and he stated he was very sorry about the service and the condition of my trailer. Shop foreman stated that he wished that he could do a detail on my trailer but they didn't have a detailer at this time. I stated that why don't you just credit me the cost of the detail and I would be happy with that. Because you're the be the one who's gonna have to clean up their mess. He stated that it was above his pay grade. I asked who I could talk to about getting the cost of the detail could have been back and he said that that person wasn't available and that he would have him call me later that evening or the following day which was December 16th. I waited all day for the call and never received a call back.

We took our cougar 5th wheel in for service to have the refrigerator checked because it went out on us while camping and lost food. We took it in for service and they said it works fine. We went to pick it up and notice it was hit. Upper drivers side. No management there told I will have to wait until Monday when he comes in.

Wait. It didn't leak for years in spite of sitting around doing nothing (while the seals around the slide dry out, as all slide seals do), and you're surprised it leaks? You may want to do some research on how to properly maintain an RV in long-term storage, especially one with slides.

Sales person was abrupt.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My husband and I put down some money for the trailer at this establishment in 2018. The sales person we talked to at the time was an elderly gentleman who was very helpful and patient with us. He told us that we could trade it in later for another a trailer with more room, though our credit was not great. We were very satisfied with his service, and he was very helpful! When we went back to look at another trailer last week, that gentleman was not there, and we were told that he had retired. So a new person drove us around to look at some RV trailers. When we finished looking at the trailers, we went to the office with the new person so that he could check our credit scores. I personally felt that the prices of the trailers were beyond what we could afford, but my husband felt that he could put down some money for a trailer, but when this sales person saw our credit scores, he told us to please leave! We were shocked, but we left. We are paying off our debts and will continue to do so. But we did not deserve that treatment, this person was very rude. I would not recommend anyone I know to buy a trailer here, and even if I had the money to pay for a trailer, it would not be here!

Rv country sells bad products

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Disappointed in this place. We bought a new Jayco travel trailer, considering filing a lemon law so I can get rid of this piece of junk!

Between Jayco and Rv dealerships (camping world) and Rv Country getting warranty repairs done is like dealing with the three stooges!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor dont buy from these guys who dont stand behind the junk they sell.

Ive never touched the refrigerator side wall vent cover, my trailer is 8 months old, I pick it up from having another repair done. A window removed and reinstalled due to it leaking. On the way home the vent cover falls off.

I was told it was like a hubcap falling off its 40 bucks if I want to replace it.

One person told me I can use fridge without it, another person told me I couldnt. I have plans to camp this weekend. If I could turn back time, Id keep driving past Rv Country, they are ready to grab your money on that sale, but could care less about your rig once the sale is done.

Im buying an Rv in 2 years and Ill make sure I dont give these guys a penny. If they cant give great service with a 20G travel trailer why would I trust them with a 70G rig??

Do not buy from these jokers!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I recently purchased a new retro trailer fr Fife only to realize a day later that they were slick and sales tactics brutal. You have 3 days to change your mind about anything in WA state. I paid them w cash and credit card. Bf i realized it Kevin had me 6k more for things i either didnt need or want or didnt know i had never wanted For eg. I didnt need the campground membership the special stuff to add on to my retro. Etc. They and i argued for mos and they finally agreed to pay off the $3500 to the campground place. Look i do not appreciate the sales tactics and attitude. Ive waited since Oct to get the red curtains and bedspread that go w this unit..i got the blue. Thats the least of it. They treated me as if I was trying to rip them off bc i didnt really want the 6k worth of extra stuff and said so. They are in the low end of rv dealers. They have a terrible reputation too. I cant tell you how badly they messed up. To begin with nobody fiinished getting the retro ready. Pipes were loose..refrig and furnace not working. Leaks etc. Do not buy a rv from Rv country. I've waited for mos for them to fix all the other issues either. Also. Never buy a rv alone. And you might take an atty w you. This is my first rv experience w Paul Everetts Rv country hdqtrs in CA. They own Fife store. Ratings very low. Bottom line. I wish i had gone to a reputable dealer. 4 mos is plenty of time to make things right. Now it is simple. My retro came with blue curtains and bedspread and on day one they promised to order the red set. If they cant even do this imagine how bad their reputation is and go somewhere else.

We went to the rv show in monroe wa and found the trailer we wanted Imagine by grand design (21bhe.) At rv country. Brandon was our salesman. They wouldnt budge much on the price and told us that this was the show price and it was the lowest they could go, but they were willing to come down a little and include the hitch, brakes, PDI etc....when we were signing papers with the finance guy kevin, he convinced us to get the gap ins and extended warranty. I noticed the price had gone up from what we negotiated but assumed that was with the gap ins. (Yes i shouldve looked closer) but i assumed it was all being done honestly. We signed the papers and went home. Later that day i looked online and found the same trailer listed on their site for 2k less. I brought this to kevins attention the next day and he said it was a mistake but theyd honor that price and throw in an extra battery. When we picked up our trailer the following week, we noticed the initial price was lower but it wasnt as low as the price listed on the internet. (Again, assuming that was including gap ins) i mentioned this to the finance guy Phil and he said "youre right, kevin probably forgot, but we'll get the money back to you if thats the price he told you" i spoke to kevin the next day and he told me that he did lower to that price but then charged us for the hitch, brakes, etc!!! Making the price more than the original deal!!! I was furious! He said they would never give us the hitch, brakes and PDI and basically called me an idiot! So from the beginning they were trying to get over on us and did! Absolute liars!!! I take responsibility for taking them at their word and for not double checking the paperwork but im disgusted that they would treat customers this way. We were excited about getting our new trailer but now the feeling has turned to disgust with how we were treated. I dont know how these people sleep at night. Dirty, lying thieves!

Two opposite expieriences!

We were crippled on the road by hydraulics that wouldn’t work. I called RV Country in Mesa, AZ. They were able to squeeze us in within a couple days and so eager to help us. It took a couple weeks to get parts and they again couldn’t wait to get us all fixed up. Great bunch of service techs and service writer!! Quite the opposite of our experience with the Mt Vernon, WA store who’s follow through is none existent. Two totally opposite expieriences. We love you Mesa RV Country!!!!

Nothing but a bunch of pathetic liars!

We purchased our new 2018 Grand Design Solitude 373FB in May of 2018. Upon our arrival to do our pdi, we were met with a fresh and still wet repair on the back passenger side top and corner of the tpo rubber roof. When we asked what was under the wrong caulking that was used instead of the correct sealant we were told nothing. When we demanded that they put the correct sealant on this very large repair, and when they remove the wrong caulking to do so, to let us see what they had tried to secretly repair and hide from us, they assured us they would let us see what was under that large repair. They lied, they refused to let us see the voids and separations from the tpo and the rear cap, that had been left unresolved since it had arrived from the manufacture on approximately January 16, 2018. That means water was allowed to intrude into those large voids and separations for the entire time in Oregon’s rainy season and up until the day we arrived in mid May of 2018. Then they promised to remove all of the rust that totally covered the frame, undercarriage, leaf springs, inside of wheels, axels, pin box, etc. the other defects are to many to mention here, but a few are, the defective grey tank flooded the belly 2 days after our pdi, the grey tank also started backing up into the master bathroom plumbing, and flooding the master bathroom and bedroom. Upon waking in the middle of the night and not knowing the grey tank was flooding the inside of those rooms, when I got up to go to the bathroom in the dark, I slipped in the water and fell hitting my head, hurting my back, and my neck. When we told our service advisor who just happens to be a pathological lier, and he promised to get it and the grey tank repaired. He is a pathological liar. He told us he ordered parts from Grand Design on June 6, 2018, then kept lying to us saying they were coming, then we called Grand Design and we were told the only part ever ordered by our lying service advisor was a grey tank ordered on July 6, 2018, a month later than he had said he ordered it. The master bathroom plumbing continues to back up onto the flooring. The electrical is defective and an extreme fire hazzard, the light all flicker when we use the water pump and turn on any water faucet in the rv and even when we flush the toilets, at the same time the battery levels in the control panel flashes at the same time, we are connected to 50 amp shore power during all of this. The electrical burned out the thermostat and heating element in the new clothes dryer instantly, we were told by the dryer company that we have to low of voltage coming through our wiring and it will burn those out to prevent a fire. I can go on about this dealership, there are many many more defects with our rv, but I would like to also let the buyers beware of any paperwork you sign with this dealership, they threatened us into signing fraudulent paperwork, threatening that if we did not they would throw us out of their parking lot without our money or any rv, where they had asked us to stay so they could supposedly do all of the many repairs, replacements, etc that never took place. We are both disabled senior citizens, they have taken total advantage of us, they will lie about anything and everything, to make a sale. They stole from us, they threatened us numerous times, they lied to us repeatedly thinking we we believed them, which we did not. They scammed us with false figures on the sales contract, they forced us to sign fraudulent contracts and documents. When we had tired of living with all of their lies, while nothing was being repaired, replaced, etc, after 3 1/2 months of living in their parking lot in our new rv at their request to do so, we hired a lemon lawyer, then they kicked us off of their parking lot, and refused to honor any of our warranty or any of the repairs replacements etc that they had lied continually about for the entire 3 1/2 months. Stay away from this fraudulent lying dealership, take your money to a reputable dealer like Camping World.

Is the service advisors name Nathan by any chance? Sounds exactly like the former service advisor for Sunset RV in Buckley!

In fact several of the customers up there nick named him Nathan the liar!

Sorry you're having so many problems. Sucks to have the problems and then be treated that way.

Unbelievable! That's who I'm dealing with but now they are RV country instead of sunset RV in Buckley.

Our motorhome has been on their lot for 3 years on an insurance claim. Sunset sold to RV country Nov 2017 without our knowledge. Come to find out absolutely no work has been done and I need to seek advice but haven't a clue what or where to go.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with but because our motorhome was vandalized at the storage unit across the street and undrivable that's where we took it. Worst mistake ever!

Use caution before purchasing a used RV from them

Shop around before you buy from these guys. The sales staff is very helpful but when it comes time for customer support after the sale, be careful. I bought a "used" 2018 model class C in 2018. I expected them to go over the unit thoroughly before I took possession. We found the house batteries did not function on day one. It took about a week before I could get them to replace it while we were on the road. While traveling, I found several other things that did not work as well. Their warranty for used vehicles is worthless. I took my rig in for warranty service and was told that "pre-existing" conditions are not covered. Duh, everything on the unit is pre-existing when you buy a used vehicle. When something goes wrong with electrical or mechanical, that may not be covered. What good is a warranty?

service department is the worst I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. My motorhome has been there for going on 3 month. Really, this is how you do business. In the time its been there I’ve manage to get jason (service tech) to call me back one time. Now Jon Service Manager) is in the loop only because I call and complained to him. To make things even better, my RV get broken inot, damaged, stuff both personal and equipment stolen. Had people done there stinking job in the first place, my motorhome would not have been there. This was my first RV experience and let me tell you, from the worthless sales guy in Laughlin, to the knucklehead finance guy to now the pathetic service department. I may never buy another RV again. I can’t wait to hear what kind of BS drag they *** give me about repairing the theft damage and replace all the lost items. I just bought a 2002 Monaco Knight from the Coburg store. They screwed up the wiring putting on the 7 way plug in, did not fix the ABS system until I took it back a second time, would not tell me what was and was not covered under the $9000 warranty that I got suckered into buying, did not communicate with me about repairs, costs, coverage, etc. After I wrote a review, the service manager called me to discuss the issues. Nothing was resolved. I asked him to check with the tech about the roof leak. He stated he would check with him and call me right back. 24 hours later, still no call back from them. I would never again consider buying from this company. I heartily caution anyone considering the purchase or repair of an RV to look elsewhere first.
